Is this a virtual training app?
Velo Pro Racer is primarily a racing game designed to simulate road racing seen on TV. This breathes new life and inspiration into your training.
Can I use this as part of my training plan?
Sure! Every smart trainer connected session can be uploaded to Strava. We also have a workouts feature and an online multiplayer which can support training plans.
Does this work with my training app?
As we're just getting started, we haven't been able to integrate with any third party training apps yet, so our game is currently focussed on the racing/gaming aspect. But watch this space you training fanatics!
Can I upload to Strava?
Yes. You can link your Strava account to your Velo Pro Racer® account here.
Do I need a smart trainer to play?
No. Using a smart trainer is completely optional for the career/single-player mode. A smart trainer is only required for the online multiplayer.
Do I need to be a top level cyclist to play this with a smart trainer?
No. You can adjust opponent difficulty before each race, or alternatively you can add extra watts to your power reading to help you get those big numbers out.
Will there be a season two?
Yes! Season two is already in development and will feature a new map, new bikes, wheels, kit and of course, a huge calendar of races to complete!
